We arrived at 9pm and were glad he could fit us in. He was a great host, taking time to show us a map and point out things to visit the next day. The room was tidy, the bed comfortable, and it was lovely and warm. I’d recommend it and stay again.

It was a perfect overnight stop while we were driving the GOR. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the service was warm and friendly from the welcome onward. The room was spacious and very clean. It was an older place, but that didn’t bother us at all when everything was so spotless. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

It was pleasant talking with Greg a few times. He arranged very good rooms for all of our family members at his motel, though unfortunately we had to cancel the trip just three days after booking.

I was in Warrnambool for work all week, but the first night was so bad I checked out at 11pm and drove back to Geelong. The mattress was extremely old and uncomfortable, and there was an intermittent banging in the roof, like roof sheets lifting or a water hammer. I figured I’d sleep better at home. The room was dated and poorly cleaned, with large carpet stains and mould around the sink. I took photos of those in room 11. I also stepped on a spike barefoot where the carpet meets the tile, and the shower drains badly enough that you end up standing in your own shower water. My mistake was booking in the holiday season. I’ve stayed in much better motels elsewhere for $160 a night, and at other times. This isn’t a 3.5 star hotel. Credit to the proprietor for letting me cancel my other two nights without adequate notice, but I still had to pay for the night I didn’t sleep there.
