Discovery Parks - Warrnambool

The sites were decent, small but pleasant with a slab, though there’s no shade at all. It’s expensive, and I won’t be back. I went to cook dinner and found the kitchen had closed at 9, so I had nothing that night. Closing it then seems ridiculous. I get that it might bother other people, but a microwave would be the minimum. Paying for a bit of grass and a kitchen and getting neither a usable kitchen nor shade is absurd.

We chose the two-bed budget cabin, which was well priced for what it was. The beds were comfortable and it was well appointed, though it looked dated and tired. We had to deal with a lot of ants when we checked in. The park is conveniently located near the beach and cafes, but the cabins are very close together, so there was some noise.

The cabins were clean, neat, and comfortable, and the service was great. I really appreciated being able to get one at the last minute. There are terrific amenities, and it’s a short walk to the beach. Great location, and I’d highly recommend it.

It was usually a quiet park, but they pack you in like sardines. The bed was much too soft and extremely uncomfortable, and the ill-fitting curtains let far too much light into the bedroom.
