We stayed at the Coachman’s Inn for seven nights, but it didn't live up to the reputation I'd been led to expect. We'll look closely at other accommodation options when we return to Warwick. The room wasn't serviced after the first night. We later noticed the reverse of the do not disturb tag said to make up the room, but nobody explained that at check-in. When we used the sign later in the week, it wasn't replaced, and room servicing was poor. We also had to buy toilet paper ourselves because the supplied paper was so hard it felt like using A4 paper. One morning, while my wife was getting dressed, a male manager opened the door and walked in without knocking. At the restaurant, service took so long that we had to ask staff to take our order.

We've stayed at the coachman's twice now, and it'll be our usual choice when we're in Warwick. The room was clean and warm, with a lovely comfy bed and a good shower. It was quiet despite being close to the road, and the main street is just down the road. The lady who checked me in was very friendly.

Not happy at all. I won't stay here or eat at Rupert’s again. The meal there was very ordinary for the price, the beers we wanted weren't available, and service was average. The prices just don't match the food. We'd booked a room at the Coachman’s, gone to a party in town, then returned late to find our key wouldn't open the door. We called reception, and the chef came out. It took three attempts and 30 minutes to get us into our room. We complained the next morning. Nearly a month later, we finally got an $80 voucher for our next visit. When we booked another room, we were told the voucher was for dining only. Nobody had mentioned that when we made the booking. We were unhappy to be told this after booking again.

The host couple were welcoming and very helpful when I stayed with a group. The rooms were comfortable and clean, though I would have preferred a ground-floor room. Dinner and breakfast were great. I'd definitely recommend it.
