Lavender Cottage was just right for our three nights, with lovely furnishings, a useful kitchenette, a fantastic bathroom and a great deck. Glenrose Cottages felt calm and comfortable throughout, and Tracey, the new owner, was warm and easy to talk to. We loved it and will be back.

I keep returning to Glenrose Cottages for stitching retreats. The cottages are relaxing, very clean and have everything needed, and the workshop room works well for our three-day retreat. I've stayed many times and expect to come again.

The big windows make the workspace a delight for quilters and crafters, with lots of natural light. Everything feels thoughtfully arranged, and the homestead is immaculate, right down to the bright white linens. Great value, too. The cleaners and gardeners are doing a wonderful job, and I'll certainly come back for another retreat.

Our midweek quilting trip with friends has become an annual stay. The workshop is well set up, with a good kitchen for self-catering and a comfortable spot to sit and unwind. The cottages have cosy beds, useful amenities and log fires. It suits a couple or a group looking for a short retreat.

For a weekend retreat, Glenrose Cottages was a lovely choice. The gardens are beautiful and the accommodation is extremely clean. There's even a quilt shop stocked with everything. Glenis and Percy made us feel very welcome.
