Red Cedars Motel

The bed was comfortable, the linen was clean, and both the water pressure and hot water were good. It did the job for one night while passing through town. Still, our room was pretty average, with damage from earlier modifications. There were lots of grimy spots, dead insects in the light fittings, and the towel rack was hanging off the wall. It's rated three stars, but I'd give it two.

The walls are thin enough that I could hear the couple next door getting freaky all night, really clearly. That's the only issue I had with the hotel itself. It's a nice place with great staff, and basic but has everything you need for a few nights at a good price. If you plan on bussin it down, maybe pick somewhere with thicker walls 😭

The room had all the necessities, the service was great, and the location worked well for where I needed to go. I liked having parking right outside my room, and most of all, I felt safe there with my kids. The style was a little dated and it smelled that way too. I also liked seeing elderly people staying active by doing housekeeping. I'd book again. 🤩

This place was HORRID. The shower had stains I couldn't identify, and the bedsheets had yellow marks plus a random green one greener than the trees outside!! When I asked staff, they scoffed and ignored me. The free Wi-Fi didn't work either, and to finish it off, my neighbour screamed every night. Do not recommend.
