There’s no mobile reception, but free Wi-Fi is available. The cafe runs from 8-8 and the prices are reasonable. It’s a busy campsite, with showers and toilets in several spots. If you’ve got your own boat and want water activities, it’s a good place to try. There’s also a cycle track, a swimming pool with a water play area, and pedal go-karts for hire at $20 for 45 minutes.

The ferry ride across the lake in your car is a nice way to arrive, and the campsite is just over an hour from Syndey. You can stay in a caravan, tent, or rented cabin, and there’s plenty for families or friends to do, including a playground, cafe, movie theatre, bike hire, and an amazing pool and waterpark for kids. The showers were hot and very clean. The small drawbacks were that the pool didn’t seem to get cleaned much and other families could be noisy after 10pm. Still, it’s a really nice campsite and worth visiting.

My son had a great time at the splash park and pool, right in front of our cabin, and we all had fun on the hire carts. I also really appreciated having some family time without internet. The cabin was a little dated, but it did what we needed. My cousins had an odd interaction with a staff member in the cafe while ordering pizza for Friday dinner. The female staff I dealt with were all nice, though. We enjoyed our weekend at Del Rio Riverside Resort and will definitely come back. Thank you.

The grounds made a strong first impression. Everything looked clean, organized, professional, and well presented. The reception experience was disappointing, though. The blonde woman at the front desk didn’t seem willing to help when we tried to ask questions, and it was very hard to have a proper conversation with her. She came across as unfriendly and unapproachable, which made things uncomfortable. We were polite and respectful, and tried to communicate clearly in English, but we didn’t get the same courtesy or support in return. The business has great potential with a structure this good, but reception service really needs to improve because it has a big effect on the experience. Thank you.
