Wentworth Grande Resort

Being able to walk around Wentworth and get out to explore the region made this a really handy base. We were right in town, across from the visitor information centre, and the location was the best part for us. We had two inter-connecting rooms for two adults and two kids. Everything was very clean, and the beds were genuinely comfortable. Ours looked over the car park, which was fine with us, though worth knowing. There was still a river view from the balcony, and we liked sitting there in the evenings. A full river-facing room would probably have made it a five-star stay.

Dave and his staff got us organised in no time, which was a relief with 30 blokes on Harley Davidsons, a group that can be like herding cats. The buffet breakfast was great. We were only in Wentworth for one night, but I'd recommend the Grand Resort if you're after a comfortable stay in this lovely little town. Many thanks from the Wild Dogs.

The pelicans hunting in the river right beside the motel at night were a huge bonus. Worth taking a walk in the dark to see them. My room was lovely and clean, and I could park my motorbike right outside. A simple breakfast and free laundry were included. Everyone I met, from reception to the cleaning ladies, was super friendly and happy. Highly recommend this motel.

The generous breakfast servings were a nice start to the day. I was here for a few nights for a recent event in Wentworth, and the clean, spacious room had very effective air conditioning. The beds were comfortable, and I woke up well rested each day. A good country motel. I'll be back.
