We came back for our last night and were just as disappointed. The bathroom and toilet were separate in this cabin, but it was still very cramped, and the bunks were kids’ beds even though we’d booked for four adults. At night there was noise from the highway and from other guests driving, talking, and carrying on at all hours. It’s a shame, because the spot itself is great. We started our Tasmania trip at Discovery Parks in an economy cabin that sleeps four. Don’t book it for four adults, there’s barely room to move. The bathroom and toilet were tiny, the decor was old and dated, and the parking spaces were barely big enough for a small car. A family with a small motor home parked next to us kept bumping the bedroom side of our cabin whenever they used it. Not ideal. The cabin was clean enough and served its purpose for the first two nights.

This caravan park is well maintained, with good cabins and a campground, and it had everything we needed for our getaway. It’s a short drive from Hobart City and worth it if you want budget accommodation. Check-in was seamless. Thanks for a great place to stay on our Tassie trip!

I was hesitant because of a bad experience here two years ago, but the cabin for three was reasonably priced, so I kept my booking. The service has definitely improved this time. Keep it up. There’s a public bus service next door.

The facilities were good, but the bed was so uncomfortable, and cars buzzed past on the highway all night. The room also smelled strongly of mold as soon as we walked in. My partner and I have never had such a diabolical night’s sleep. At this price, we expected at least a decent bed.

The staff gave clear instructions for picking up the key after hours, and the price was decent. I slept really well. It’s a 10-minute drive from the airport. Ideal, thanks 👍
