Iron Creek Bay Estate

The farm gave the property a peaceful, distinctive feel, and we really enjoyed breakfast at the lovely restaurant. The food was delicious. Reception staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating whenever we had a request, which made us feel welcome during our relaxing three-night stay on our first trip to Tasmania. There was one uncomfortable surprise: an older housekeeping staff member opened our room door without knocking, even though the Do Not Disturb sign was clearly up. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. The estate itself is beautiful.

Our child was so reluctant to leave, which says a lot. We had a great family stay at Iron Creek Estate in Tasmania, picking fresh fruit and feeding the animals. The rooms were spotless, cosy, and very comfortable, and we felt right at home. The staff were welcoming and the views were stunning. It seems like a lovely peaceful escape for couples too. We'd happily return and recommend it.

The restaurant was closed on the night we stayed, something we hadn't known when booking, but breakfast was lovely. The room was nice, the bed really comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. I was startled awake in the middle of the night by the wing and room doors slamming. The closers need adjusting so the doors shut slowly, instead of relying on a sign asking guests to be quiet. Please have them looked at, it can be done. I'd still recommend staying here.

The pavilions worked really well for our team stay, with spacious, spotless, well-appointed rooms. The estate grounds are beautiful, and the animals made the visit even more special. Every staff member we met was professional and went out of their way to make us feel looked after. The food was fantastic, especially the pumpkin dish, which I'm still thinking about. Breakfast could use an update, though. For a corporate workshop, I'd recommend this place and suggest booking the pavilions. We hope to visit again.
