Amanda is such a humble, kind host, and the cottages have made our visits to Westbury so lovely. We come up from Maitland NSW often to see family, and over the years my family has stayed in almost all the cottages and loved every one. The breakfast delivered each day is delicious and there’s plenty of it. These gorgeous cottages have put Westbury TAS on the map. Even if you don't stay, go take a look at what they're all about. Well done to Amanda and team, the cottages are AMAZING!

The breakfast provided was bacon, eggs, juice and coffee or tea, and the cottage was self contained. We were in the Servents Quarters for three days during the craft fair. The old cottages and beautiful vintage pieces make for a lovely location, though there was some road noise until 8pm because it's street front. The couch was much too vintage and really uncomfortable. With my bad knees and trouble walking, being able to relax on a comfortable couch would have made a difference. Overall a very nice location, but we won't return.

The room is spacious, and the location is okay, though you need to drive. It wasn't clean enough, with dirt in places, especially the oven. Turning on the shower tap also caused an extremely loud noise, like a bomb or drilling, that went on for more than a minute.

The bedrooms were cosy, the heating was great, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, with a fresh, delicious loaf and cake each day, plenty of bacon and eggs, jams and cereal, a litre of milk, OJ, and plunger coffee. A lovely cottage and a perfect place to stay. Thanks, Amanda and Danny, for an enjoyable visit. We'll definitely be back.

We booked for 10 people but found only 2 double beds and 2 single beds, so expect some awkward spooning with friends. There was just one mirror, and it wasn't full-length, which made checking an outfit difficult. The cottage was so dusty I could've written my name on the table. Was it missed during cleaning, or is that the worst kind of "rustic"? The orange juice was so watered down it felt like a sad, overpriced juice cleanse. For the price, I expected more than a dusty throwback to 1998. Sorry, Westbury, we're swiping left. 👎
