Oaks Mackay Carlyle Suites

The apartment itself is cute, and we were excited to stay, but the condition was awful. The pool was full of leaves, bugs and dirt. Inside, the toilet seat was broken and nearly falling off, the shower had grime, and the dishes had been put away dirty. There were toenail clippings on the main bedroom floor. The beds looked neatly made, but it was obvious someone had slept in them. There were small fooo stains on the sheets with little ants all over them, and hair and dirt throughout the bed and pillows. The children's beds had hair and dirt too, and the spare blanket in the cupboard was covered in yellow stains. We were told reception closed at 9pm, but when we went down at 8:15 to sort out the dirty beds, it was already shut. We had no other option but to try cleaning the used beds ourselves and sleep in them. Thankfully we had booked just one night. The next morning, the front desk staff didn't care when we explained what we'd slept in. The place was very misrepresented online, and we won't return or recommend it. Edited in response to Oaks reply: As I said in my original review, we went to reception at 8:15pm about the sheets and found it closed. They weren't offered to be changed, and we didn't buy new ones because all the shops were closed for New Years at that time of night. It was disappointing that our concerns weren't taken seriously at checkout, and even more so to see the business now lying about it. 1/10, do not recommend.
