I didn’t get a decent night’s sleep once during the whole week. The walls are thin and there are gaps under the doors, so you can hear the whole floor talking, yelling, playing music, and banging every night well past midnight. Absolutely horrible.

I stayed for three weeks in December and it was absolutely fabulous. The rooms were a fabulous size and so clean, and the place was central to shops and restaurants. The staff were totally outstanding, so kind, generous, and friendly, and looked after guests like family. If I could give ten stars, I would. Thank you so much to all you hardworking, kind, beautiful people. Noeleen

The team at Aligned made our recent extended stay really enjoyable, and we had access to the gym as well as a shuttle to and from the accommodation during scheduled hours. The only thing I’d change is the low water pressure. I’d recommend staying here.

The beds were really uncomfortable, and the rooms felt old and noisy. They’ve painted the place, but the job wasn’t very good. The new staff seemed polite at first, then turned rude. There are plenty of better options. It feels overpriced and like a money grab.

8/10
The rooms were quiet, with good insulation from street noise, so I slept well. They were also clean and comfortable, with a small kitchenette, and there’s secure parking. The staff were helpful and friendly. It’s right in the heart of Mackay CBD, and I’d happily stay again.
