I’ve stayed at International Lodge Motel several times, and it keeps exceeding my expectations. The rooms are always spotless, comfortable and well presented, which makes each visit easy and enjoyable.

A perfect stay: check-in was hassle-free, the rooms were clean and parking was good. The central location is great, but the friendliest and most helpful staff were the best part.

The Chinese restaurant next door is a handy dinner option. The motel itself is right in the middle of Mackay, with simple, clean rooms, tidy linen and comfortable beds. A good choice for a quick overnight stop.

We had a comfortable stay, with clean rooms, comfy beds and good shower pressure. The staff were friendly and helpful, and John was especially good to us. We needed extra time because of a job we were waiting to have completed in Mackay, and he let us keep the room for two hours past checkout for a reasonable extra charge. The rate was reasonable too. A great stop while travelling through Mackay toward the Gold Coast. Thanks! 🤩

Customer service was basically zero. I paid once for extra towels, returned them all, and was still asked to pay again the next day. They also wouldn't let me store my things after checkout even though my bus wasn't until 7pm. So inflexible, and the service was unfriendly and unhelpful.
