The location is handy for getting around on a budget, with public transport right there and the bus stop only a three-minute walk away. Town is about five minutes away too. The room and facilities are dated, but clean and spacious, and there's a fridge in the room, though no kitchen. The staff are really friendly and helpful, which made the stay worthwhile.

The staff were great and really helpful, but the room needs a serious refurb. The carpet felt sticky and everything seemed to be falling apart.

Every time we visit, the staff remember our drinks. Service is prompt and dependable, and the venue is always kept clean and tidy.

The Friday night staff were lovely, and Dj Funky made it a fun night out. Thanks, Funky! We were only in Mackay for one night, and the room was in good shape, cool and comfortable, with a nice bed. Good value for the money.

A welcoming place to unwind after work, or for the young ones to get up and party. The bar staff are joyful and treat you like family, the service is spot on, and there's always good music. It's a quiet place when you want to relax, too.
