Island Quarters

We spent a week at Island Quarters and were really pleased with the apartment. It was spacious, fresh, comfortable, well equipped and very clean. In Whitemark, it's close to all the useful facilities, just a short walk away, including the Whitemark waterfront. If we come back to Flinders Island, this will definitely be our first choice for a place to stay.

It was bright and roomy, with local artwork, a few real plants, and the pub and wharf just steps away. The apartment was scrupulously clean and well equipped, with plenty of power points and air conditioning that worked well. The Wi-Fi was good for anyone needing to work, and Foxtel and the smart TV were welcome too. The toilet is separate from the bathroom, and the layout seems suited to people with restricted mobility, though there is a half step to get in. Most memorable of all was the bed. I haven't slept in one this comfortable recently, and the choice of pillows at different heights and firmness was great. A good mattress and pillows really help, along with that fresh sea air. Great stay, and communication with the managers was good.

Everything we needed was there, including a washing machine and dryer, and a well equipped kitchen. The apartments are fantastic, with outside areas to sit, a beautiful shower, and a huge bed with lovely crisp sheets. The big TV with Netflix was great too. The host was exceptional. We had a super stay, highly recommended. Flinders Island is so beautiful!

I only went to the public bar and restaurant downstairs, not as a guest. I was there for parmi night and it was WONDERFUL. The food was delicious, and that ice-cream sundae gave me a level of euphoria like no other. It was the single most joyous experience of my life. I gave the room 5 stars because the rooms I saw were very clean. 10/10.
