We stayed at the Hi Way Inn three times in a month and would happily come back. The rooms and grounds were spotless, the staff were great, the food was good, and the bar service was fantastic. On our first late arrival, the only room free was Room 1, with disabled facilities. It was well designed, spacious, and everything was within reach from wheelchair height. Our dog had lots of room to sleep on the deck, where there was also a nice sitting area. The staff had left the key in the room. We arrived a little earlier than expected and the French girl at the bar gave us a lovely welcome, and made the best G & T's. Sorry, I've forgotten your name! Room 2 on our second stay had everything we needed too. On the third visit we had Room 32, which was brilliant, with a huge room and bathroom. There was plenty of room to sit on the deck with our dog there as well. We'd stay again. Morag and Ali MacLennan

The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful all the way through, and the service was excellent. The place is simple but really comfortable and relaxed. Breakfast was excellent, and there was home cooked food available in the evenings. I'd definitely recommend it and come back.

We stayed three nights and really enjoyed it. The place is basic but clean, and the staff were helpful. The home made meals were lovely. We actually liked hearing the military jets across the road, they were a bonus for us.

The person I dealt with was nice, so that's why I'm giving it 3. The room was quiet and had good aircon, and the pool was clean. But it was small, the toilet ran constantly, and the bathroom tap leaked.

The meals were good, and it's near the Winnelle Hotel, a good Darwin Worker Watering Hole. The motel style room was decent, but watch out for slippery floors in the walk through bathrooms. I'd accidentally booked a Transit Room, which had no bathroom and felt very third world. They offered me an upgrade for $20, and I was grateful for that.
