The pool and gym were great, and the facilities were generally pretty good, though some things were worn, broken, or out of order. It's a short drive into the city centre, which was handy, but the park is poorly placed between the airport and highway. There was a lot of noise from the airport, highway, and plumbing work. Staff wouldn't help with it at all. The receptionist and manager were dismissive and unhelpful, couldn't accommodate requests, and wouldn't take feedback. The park was almost empty, but they still wouldn't allow a late checkout without charging for another night. I wouldn't recommend it or return.

The studio apartment, I think that's what it's called, is clean and comfortable, with everything needed for cooking. It's just right for me, and pets are allowed too. There are two pools, a gym, and a couple of camp kitchens. I came to Darwin to get work done on my 4x4 and decided to give discovery parks a go. It's off season and quiet now. The park looks fairly large, so I imagine it gets busy in the dry season.

Quiet spot, and you can't even hear the road. Great value for the price. The cabins are super clean, the staff are really friendly, and the laundry and tubs are clean too. Can't find fault with it. I'll stay here every time I visit Darwin, and recommend it 110% 👌

Only one staff member, Julie, was wonderful, and Jim from maintenance was helpful too. Most of the others, including management, were rude and unwelcoming. We stayed 10 days, but the cabin never got serviced even though the paperwork clearly said every 7 days. The nearest laundry had all its washing machines out of order and half the dryers were out as well. In the shared area only one BBQ worked, and the oven and TV were broken. The airport and RAAF Base were extremely noisy. Some aircraft actually shook the cabin.

We had a pretty good week, and the park was close enough to Darwin centre to be convenient. The sites were generously sized. It's a picturesque place with two good pools and a clean amenities block, and they enforce the 5kms speed limit. About three washing machines were out of order during part of our stay. Also, make sure you clean the bat droppings off your awning before packing it away.
