The beds were clean and the room tidy, and it was a good deal for two nights. But the shower leaked, and both the fridge and toilet were noisy during the night. Noisy neighbours in the hallway woke us twice. There’s also a church bell outside. If you need somewhere quiet to sleep, look elsewhere.

It’s easy to get around from here, with the local shopping area and popular restaurants nearby, the beach and some parks within walking distance, and the main road close by if you want to drive further out. There’s underground and surface parking, plus plenty of roadside spots around the area. Reception is welcoming and staffed 24/7. The rooms are quaint and cover the basic needs.

The staff were wonderful, always smiling when I came in or returned the key, and they tried to sort out any inconveniences during my stay. The room’s desk was handy as a travelling uni student, and the air conditioning was great on very hot days. It’s a good fit for business travellers, couples, or a quick visit, and could work for a reasonable length of time. I wouldn’t choose it for an extended family stay, though a couple of nights would be fine. Thanks for the lovely stay and great service.

The rooms are small, but so is the price, and small doesn’t have to mean bad. It was clean, bug-free, had good AC, and parking is underneath the building. If you’re into shopping, there’s plenty within walking distance. A lot of the complaints seem to be about things the hotel can’t control, like noisy garbage trucks or loud, drunk bogans. lol

A great place to stay, with friendly staff and restaurants and shops nearby. You wouldn’t know it’s usually student accommodation because the room was set up like a regular hotel room. I’d come back.
