Normandie Inn and Function Centre

The staff were lovely and very helpful 😊, and the room was clean with a comfy bed. It could use some maintenance, though. There was mould on the ceiling, the air conditioner didn’t work, and the TV needs a proper antenna instead of rabbit ears.

The manager was fantastic and had a great sense of humour, and the room was so nicely presented that we want to buy the bed. My partner and I were happy with everything the motel offered. It’s in an awesome spot near a beautiful beach and great places to eat and drink. Everything was easy, which made our weekend away unforgettable. We’ll visit again soon!

The location was good, with easy access to the station, and the staff were friendly enough. The room was advertised as a hotel room with a kitchen and bathroom, but when we arrived it felt more like a hostel. The kitchen, bathroom, and dining area were shared, and our only private space was one room. It seemed dirty, with stains on the carpet, chairs, and towels. The roof had water damage, and the place was outdated and unkept. It was very cheap, so some of that was expected, but it was worse than advertised and should be listed as 1-2 stars rather than 3.

Never again. The rooms were substandard and disgraceful for the cost, even though it wasn’t dear. The TV didn’t work, hot water took forever to come through, and the shower dripped. There were only a couple of tea bags and one tiny bit of soap for two people. The toilet paper was see-through, the bedhead grubby, the door jamb partly renovated, and there was a musty smell.
