We stopped in for a late Sunday lunch. The service was friendly and the food came out fast. The cheesy garlic bread was really good, and the seafood platter was okay. The chips tasted great, though the fish was average and I thought the platter could've had a little more seafood.

The town centre spot is great, with plenty of parking out the back, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my seafood basket and wine. The room was clean and adequate, with a king size bed and good sheets, though it's very basic and feels like one of the original old hotel rooms. The shared bathrooms weren't so clean.

I've ordered twice now and the food's been exceptional both times. I'm having mobility issues at the moment, so it's great to enjoy fine dining at home. 100% recommend to everyone.

The staff here went above and beyond by arranging a birthday cake for our friend, whose birthday happened to be that night. We're so grateful to the manager and staff for making it memorable. My family, friends and I enjoyed eating at The Caledonian. The food was tasty, with fish baskets for our friends and Calabrese pasta for my husband and me. The staff were attentive and friendly.

I paid for three nights but didn't even stay one. It was a complete dump and an awful experience. The first room key they gave me was for a room with a slept-in bed and a dirty towel on it, so I got another room. Weeds were growing in through the window, and there was no TV, shower or fridge in the room.
