Wooli River Lodges

We had a wonderful stay in a magical spot by the river, and the lodges were amazing and well kept. Geoff was lovely to deal with and got us checked in early. I also left behind a very valuable piece of jewellery that belonged to my late brother. The staff kept it safe and returned it to my older brother, which I was extremely pleased about. Many thanks, and we look forward to coming back.

The shower had no hot water, and the bed and lounge were very uncomfortable. The small cabin was dirty, and the linen had yellowed. Wouldn’t recommend it.

The rooms were nicely situated and neatly presented when we arrived, making it a great place for a night. After we left, we realised we’d forgotten something very sentimental in the cabin. We called the lodge and were pleasantly surprised to hear they’d already found it and would post it back at no cost. We won’t forget the service we received during our stay and afterwards. Thank you, and we hope to stay again.

The garden lodge gave us privacy, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. It was clean, with fresh flowers on the table when we arrived, a lovely touch. There was a slight musty smell at first, but opening the windows cleared it quickly. The kitchen had the basics for preparing food, along with a full-size fridge, microwave/convection oven and portable hotplate. The location was peaceful and serene, right by the river, with well-kept lawns and gardens and plenty of wildlife to see and hear. If you’re after peace and quiet, this is the place.
