I asked for somewhere quiet and got a lovely tucked away spot by the water. I could hear fish jumping at night, and ducks came over to quack at me. There were chickens too, and a beautiful peacock with babies. The lady at reception was lovely, and everywhere was clean. Wildflowers in the bathrooms were such a nice touch, and there was ice cold Coke in the fridge. I don’t usually leave reviews because I don’t want my favourite places overrun, haha, but I loved it here and will be back.

We only planned on staying one night, then stayed four. Tracy and Kevin are genuinely welcoming and clearly care about their guests. The woods and river feel peaceful, while town is only a five minute drive away. The toilets and showers stayed clean, the kitchen had a kettle and BBQ, and it was verrrrry good value. We enjoyed hiring kayaks, borrowing games, and getting firewood for a campfire. Our whole group thought it was one of the best campsites we’ve stayed at. Can’t wait to return!
We thought we’d stay one night, then kept extending until it was four. Tracey and Kevin were such friendly, hospitable hosts. Hidden Creek has a forest setting by the river, with kayaking and paddle boarding, and we didn’t miss the sea views we usually go for. The camp is well equipped, with clean toilets, laundry, several camp kitchens, sinks, covered dining benches, and fire setups with logs for sitting around and roasting marshmallows. There are lots of activities and animals too, including ducks, peacocks, and kangaroos. No clouds of flies or annoying birds around while we cooked or relaxed. We’ll be back! Xxx
I really enjoyed the peacock and an early kayak trip. The sites are lovely, each with its own fire pit, beside a beautiful river. It has the good parts of a national parks campsite, with even nicer amenities.
The owners are lovely and work to keep the place peaceful. It’s a quiet campground right on the creek, with birds around and a few kangaroos. The sites are spacious, and the showers and toilets were always clean. There’s easy roadside parking for extra vehicles, and Huskisson is a quick drive away. I’ll stay again.
