The Chef's Table Dinner was a highlight. We happened to share it with the camp owners and their friends, and it felt like enjoying an amazing meal with your own family and friends. The chef introduced each dish and answered questions, and the food was exceptional. If they offer it during your stay, I highly recommend it. We also paddled canoes, rode bikes into town for breweries, played games, and had cocktails by the fire. Our family of four, with kids aged 23 and 20, counted Paperbark Camp as a trip highlight. Safari tents are unusual, but the amenities, service, and attention to detail made it feel like a five star hotel. I’d recommend it for a romantic break or a family adventure.

I’m used to hotel rooms, and this accommodation wasn’t for me. It’s worth deciding what you’re comfortable with before booking. If you like camping, it might feel like a fun upgrade, while hotel lovers might enjoy it as an introduction to nature. It has no fridge, cooking facilities, room service, TV, or AC, and the toilet, shower, and bath are all outside. Mosquitoes were a nightmare, especially at dusk and at night. It isn’t really a hotel room, glamping, or camping. The restaurant was really nice, though, and worth checking out even if you’re not staying there. You may love the accommodation.

The forest sounds were lovely, so skip the earbuds since they’re provided, and bring a sleep mask if you’re sensitive to light. We slept well in the tents, though it takes a little getting used to. There are plenty of amenities and a couple of walking trails, and everyone was friendly and keen to make our two night stay enjoyable. The camp itself is lovely, the service impeccable, and we’d definitely come again.

The staff are lovely, and we ate very well at the restaurant. We spent three nights enjoying the tranquil setting, plus bike and kayak trips. A delightful place.

The staff were attentive to our dietary needs, offering helpful recommendations and making sure meals suited our preferences while still tasting great. We loved every fresh, flavorful dish, beautifully presented, and the restaurant alone makes Paperbark Camp worth visiting. The peaceful, thoughtfully designed camp is surrounded by nature, and the comfortable, luxurious tents gave us a lovely mix of adventure and relaxation. Our stay was incredible.
