The live music made for a really good atmosphere, and the service was great. We dropped in for a late dinner two weekends ago, and it was nice to find dinner still being served after 9pm in a country town. The steak was lovely, but the baked sweet potato and slaw were the highlight.

The crumbed lamb chops came with lovely hot vegetables, and the staff were really friendly. It was a beautiful meal, though the serve was so large we couldn't finish it. There’s a huge menu with plenty of variety. Would highly recommend.

We had the surf and turf steak at the pub bistro for dinner. It was a good size and really tasty, and the potato bake was tasty too.

The steak and mushroom pot pie was excellent. Friendly staff and good food in a typical pub.

The room was clean and quiet, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was included too, which made it great value for the price. I booked a last-minute stay at the hotel/pub last night. The gentleman behind the bar who took my booking was friendly, courteous and informative, and the meal was nice. I’d definitely stay again.
