Woomargama Village Hotel Motel

The rooms are fairly standard, but they were clean, and the motel worked well for an overnight stop. What really stood out was the service: my husband left his toiletries bag, including his medicine, behind. When I emailed, they confirmed they’d found it and offered to send it back at no charge. That kind of customer care is hard to come by, and we’re very grateful. We’d stay here again.

The outdoor spot is lovely, with a big fenced-in fire bucket that keeps you toasty warm. We had nice food and drinks here, about a 60-minute drive from Wagga. There’s accommodation off to the side, though we didn’t go in to see it.

The restaurant was a highlight, generous portions, delicious food, and friendly service with a really good atmosphere. We stayed overnight on our way from Sydney to Melbourne after choosing this motel based on its reviews. The room was immaculate, nicely air-conditioned and well equipped. The beds were super comfortable, with the crisp linens I love. Highly recommend.

The pool was a nice little bonus, just right for a dip or for kids, and my cavoodle enjoyed coming along too. We had dinner together on the pub deck. Check-in was easy, just pick up the key from the bar, and checkout was quick so we could get back on the road. The only small drawback was no hairdryer in the room, though my hair may have appreciated that. The bed was comfortable and clean, neither too firm nor too soft, the shower had good pressure, and the TV let us cast our own streaming. Next door, you can grab a cold glass of wine or beer and a tasty meal. A little gem for a tired traveller. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we’ll be back.
