I was there for three midweek nights in a king room on the top floor, up three flights of stairs, which was a bit difficult with bags. The room was perfect, clean, and everything worked. I don't play golf, but the view of the course from my balcony was lovely. Housekeeping were efficient and polite, and Jake at the front desk handled all my requests. The restaurant was the one letdown. The food was mediocre, and the prices felt high for a pub-style menu, as if they were taking advantage of the resort's four-star rating. In hindsight, I wish I'd ordered delivery from one of the local restaurants instead. It was a treat for me, so that was disappointing. The Wildfire Spa being on site was perfect for my rest and restore break, and everything I wanted was catered for. They even have a sauna. Still, I highly recommend the stay.

The room was clean and comfortable for our one-night stay, but breakfast was poor. It didn't start until 7, when most people are already up and gone by 6:30. Don't waste your money on it, go to Maccas or a local Cafe. There was very little variety, though the coffee was good, and the service wasn't great. I've stayed at quite a few Mercures, and this one is near the bottom of my list. Mercure, you're dropping your standard!

We had a lovely two-night birthday stay in a spacious three-bedroom layout. The carpets are showing their age, but everything smelled beautiful, from reception to the toiletries. The weather wasn't great, yet we still had a great time in the pool, which was the perfect temperature, the sauna, and on the soggy tennis courts. Big thanks to Tim at reception for sorting out our room issue and sharing tips on things to do.

Booking three nights with breakfast, paid for three months ahead and non-refundable, made me a bit nervous, but the stay was well worth it. The cost was extremely affordable compared with anywhere else on the central coast. We were there during the busy peak period after Boxing Day, and the staff were well presented, courteous, and very accommodating with our needs. We've travelled widely, and this experience was better than almost anywhere we've stayed. We've found our new getaway spot. Breakfast had an amazing top-shelf range, and the restaurant at night beat most places we've tried in Sydney. I recommend the custom omelette at breakfast, and the cappuccinos were consistently top shelf, enough to make Campos drinkers blush. Roishin (I hope I spelt this right) deserves a special mention. She was so welcoming and made us feel at home. Spritely and charismatic, her service would be the envy of any hotel, and any business would be lucky to have her.

We tried Mercure Kooindah Water Resort for the first time on a friend's recommendation, with low expectations, and were pleasantly surprised. Everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly. The staff were upbeat, welcoming, and genuinely caring, which I assume reflects good management. The rooms were beautiful, with great views, and were properly cleaned and maintained. Service was consistent from booking through checkout. Thanks especially to Maggie & jack at reception, Rhiannon (sorry if the name isn't right) at the restaurant, and Tim at Front Office. I didn't meet Tim in person, but he made me feel valued over the phone while I was finalizing the booking. Everyone we interacted with was lovely. Breakfast was excellent, and barista-made coffee was included. We'll definitely recommend the resort and come back.
