Central Coast Motel

Room 9 was clean, tidy, spacious, and cozy, with everything I needed: a microwave, kettle, fridge, iron, TV, and air conditioning. The receptionist made the stay especially memorable. He seemed strict and blunt at first, but I soon saw how much he cares about guests. He felt like a father figure to me, and I even saw him cleaning and fixing the rooms himself that day. It's clear he puts his heart into looking after the place on his own. Thanks for making me feel at home and for the warm welcome. I'd highly recommend this motel.

The rooms were fine, but I found a couple of cockroaches in mine. After we'd been out for a few hours, there was also a huntsman in the shower. Thankfully, there was bug spray under the sink. I've stayed in several similar budget motels without running into this. The man running the place was rude throughout check-in. I was there with my Mum and siblings.

I left a domestic violence relationship and was placed here. My temporary accommodation was extended, and I had to rescue my four-month-old puppy, so I needed a pet-friendly room. They had none available until today. At check-in, I told the man I had incense burning on the table, and he said that was fine and that he'd see me again at check-in. I asked whether I could switch to a regular room if I couldn't afford the $120 for four nights for the dog. He said no, it was too late. I decided I'd borrow the money from my mum. After waiting all day, I got the funds together and called around 10 to 2. He said the room was ready, so I went down. The old man complained about the incense, then yelled and abused me, accusing me of having my dog there because there was hair on the floor. He kept screaming that she'd been there and made me burst into tears from the stress. I have a cardiac stent after a SCAD heart attack last year. My room was right by reception, and the first lady I'd met there had told me there were cameras everywhere and you couldn't do anything without being seen. I had proof my dog had been at my mum's and had never entered that hotel. He then said I could stay, but I couldn't. I don't recommend this place. I had to spend my last $160 on another room for the night, and now I'm without food and my heart medication. Absolutely disgusted. Check the footage, and you'll also see him hit my arm. 😒 😑 😭😭😭

I've had a pleasant stay every time, and the owner is always friendly and compassionate. The rooms are lovely, roomy, and well equipped with everything you could need. The TVs are smart TVs too, even though the websites don't mention it, so you can watch Netflix without bringing a laptop. I'll be back many more times, and I really look forward to it.
