The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was spacious and laid out well. The buffet had a decent, standard breakfast selection. But we waited a long time for almost everything, and the staff seemed to have a negative attitude toward us for no clear reason. The juice machine was a particular problem. Guests were expected to chop all the fruit and vegetables themselves, then use the machine. When it didn't work properly, staff blamed us for cutting the produce wrong. If an $800 machine doesn't work, it needs repair or replacement. The gym hours were limited too, closing at 9pm, which felt very early. Longer hours, ideally 24/7, would improve things. We were there for the long weekend. The room smelled strange when we arrived, though the smell later went away. Some of the supplied cutlery and kitchen utensils were very dirty and a little damaged. There's potential here, but cleanliness, staff attitude, equipment maintenance, and facilities all need attention.
