The park is in a superb location. From the grassy barbecue area, you can look out over the beach and enjoy the sunset. But the amenities were seriously dirty. Hand soap was empty for days, and by afternoon there was no toilet paper. I told a cleaner, but nothing was done. There was vomit in a sink, and faeces on the men's toilet walls. Completely unacceptable. At $110 a night for a site, with guests packed in very tightly, I'd expect much better cleanliness and maintenance. There's no after-hours number for maintenance.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Sven even arranged extra nights for us when the park was full. Toilets and showers were clean. It's a great location, with the surf just across the road and lovely sunset drinks at the caravan park's barbecue area or by the beach. As Arnie would say, we'll be back.

Check-in was well organised, with plenty of updates by text. The older amenities were small but clean and maintained during our stay. Our powered astro turf site was level, but really tight. With adjacent cabins and a very narrow road, getting our 19.6ft off-road caravan into position was a squeeze. The people behind us were so close they could've shared our awning. Still, we enjoyed the stay.

The park's grassed areas and barbecue spots overlooking the beach are lovely, with plenty of benches. It's a great location, just a short walk across the road to the beach, and customer service was great. But the cabins are a letdown for the price, over $250 a night. Our cabin had mould and a strange smell. The old camper-style electric stovetop was a problem, and the fridge was so small it couldn't fit a 1L milk in the door or half our cold food. The worn, cheap vinyl floor felt gritty. The fly screen came off its hinges whenever we used it, and the blackout blind chain was on the shelf, so we couldn't open the blind. There was no kitchen cupboard for dry food. The bedroom sliding door was loud and clunky, and came off its tiny floor rail whenever we opened it. A family member stayed in a supposedly renovated cabin and had cleanliness issues too, finding a bandaid behind the bin. The shower and sink water pressure was terrible, the blue blankets smelled unwashed and of a previous guest's perfume, and there was no large kitchen knife, just butter knives. Great location, but the cabins aren't worth the price.

The location is good, but the ladies' shower block was filthy throughout our stay and never cleaned. I mentioned it to the young lad managing the place, but he just said, “Sorry for that,” and seemed inconvenienced. The mess was still there later that day. We were going to book for January, but at $201 a night for a caravan site, the amenities really don't match the price. Very disappointed. Head office needs to check how management is overseeing staff, who are probably backpackers and don't give a damn.
