The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were nice at check-in and checkout. The price was reasonable, there’s plenty of free parking, and the motel is very close to Yass venues. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m in Yass.

I’ve stayed here many times, and the food has always been excellent. But if you’re booking the two-bedroom suite for family or friends, make sure it’s clear that the one bathroom is an ensuite off one of the bedrooms. We had to send two family members into town to book another room for two nights. Very disappointing.

The Executive Queen Spa room felt warm and cosy, and both the room and bed were very comfortable. It was very clean too. I especially liked the stained glass doors opening onto the spa bath and the natural light pouring into that room. I’ll definitely come back.

After I had to rearrange plans because of the Victoria fires, the staff went out of their way to find me a room at short notice. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It’s close to the bars and cafes on the main street, including Yazz Bar. Worked perfectly for an overnight stop travelling from NSW to Victoria.

We arrived late and left early, and they made both timings easy for us. The rooms were quiet and comfy, and the customer service was great, they really gave it their all. It could use a bit of a facelift, but Thunderbird will keep being our go-to when we travel from MEL to SYD.
