In Room 15 for one night, I had a very comfortable bed and clean linen. Wifi was dodgy and took ages to connect. My main concern was the shower: the bathroom floor tiles are light caramel, but the tiles in the shower base are patchy grey, brown, and caramel. They need a really good scrub with Gumption or another abrasive cream cleanser to get clean.

It was a pleasant walk to shops and restaurants, and I’d stay again next time I’m in Yass. The room was affordable, spacious, very clean, and had all the amenities you’d want. The only downside was the bathroom needing an update, though it was clean and usable.

The night before our holiday, they called to say, “you have to cancel your booking because we don’t have any room for you”. This was a long weekend, and the free cancellation date had passed. We searched for somewhere else but found literally nothing in or around Yass, with the long weekend and school holidays on. It ruined our holiday, and there was no compensation. They blamed booking.com, even though they knew it was a UK-based service. Extremely unreliable and totally unacceptable. Do not book here, I don’t recommend them.

It’s not far from the highway, and the man at reception was helpful and very nice. The room was clean and nice, and the price was very fair.

We’d heard the older one star reviews, so we were genuinely surprised by the motel rooms. Maybe there’s been a management change or the rooms have all been upgraded. We made a very last minute booking while driving home from Sydney and decided to stop in Yass for the night. We booked a room with a double bed and a single bed. It was clean, the water pressure was good, and it was good value. Our check-in was late and after hours, but the receptionist made sure it went smoothly, as did checkout. Lovely stay, and we’ll certainly be back if we pass through again.
