The Australian Hotel Motel Yass

I had a lovely stay and will definitely come back. The room was neat, and the shared showers and toilets were clean, with enough of them that I never had to wait. Downstairs, the steak, chips and salad were delicious. The bloke at the counter was friendly, checked me in and gave me clear directions to my room. For the price, it was hard to fault. The recreation room had a TV, tea and coffee, couches and powerpoints, too.

The bar had cold beer and good food, but I slept poorly. For seventy odd buck, my hotel room had an ok bed and a pedestal fan, with little else. On a warm night it felt like an all-night sauna. I couldn't open the window because insects were waiting to rush in, though there was a piece of wood to prop it open. The shared toilets and showers are unisex, which may not suit everyone. I assume the motel section has better facilities. My tip is to pay extra for a motel room.

A pretty standard hotel motel, but the rump steak was outstanding. That bloke cooked it so well, I'd put it among the top three steaks I've had. I'm 55, so I've had a few. Thanks for that meal.

I've travelled for a while, and tonight I finally had a steak cooked to perfection. The mushroom sauce, chips and salad had my taste buds dancing. Such an amazing meal, and the staff were friendly and charismatic. I'd highly recommend stopping in for food and a drink.
