Being able to bring our dogs was a bonus, but this was one of the most uncomfortable and stressful nights we’ve had. We stopped on the way to Sydney and didn’t sleep at all. The owners were very loud until 11pm and seemed to walk around the property all night, which felt intrusive and unsettling. The kitchen was filthy, and the “included” breakfast was unacceptable: used spreads, half-consumed milk, and random things plonked in the fridge. If you have allergies or food intolerances, avoid this place at all costs. The whole experience made us question whether the owners should be running a B&B at all. A serious rethink is needed. Definitely not recommended.

The host was welcoming and made sure I had what I needed for a comfortable stay. I could easily have stayed longer in the gorgeous room, with its beautiful period peace furnishings and comfy bed. The breakfast setup was great, and the kitchen was well planned and decorated. I also loved the lovely old style bathroom, original floor tiles, and polished wood floors. There’s a lovely garden, and I can imagine it would suit families too. I highly recommend this bed-and-breakfast.

Check-in was easy, and communication with reception was great. The location was also convenient and easy to find. We had a lovely stay in a super clean, comfortable room that felt prepared with care. You can tell the owners care about their guests, and we’d definitely recommend this bed and breakfast.

We arrived late, but getting the keys was easy, and the lights and heater were already on. They were more than happy to have my dogs, with no extra charge. Beautiful B & B, lovely presentation, and nothing was a drama. Highly recommend it.

We loved the historic feel of the place, and the rooms were warm and toasty through winter. It’s pet friendly, with a beautiful back garden.
