The gardens and furnishings are spectacular, and the hosts are genuinely lovely. We spent two nights at Laurelville and went hot air ballooning while we were there. Breakfast and afternoon tea were fresh and homemade. It's a luxurious place with all the finest touches, and we'd certainly come back.

The rooms were roomy and really comfortable, and breakfast cooked by Phil and served by Tania was delicious. Sandra gave us a warm welcome, then we were treated to scones with jam and cream and a cup of tea for afternoon tea. I'd highly recommend staying here.

York makes for a relaxing break without the airport hassle, and Laurelville Manor is a place we really love and plan to return to. The town is modest but welcoming, with more infrastructure than you'd expect. It feels well worth it, and you can save thousands on airfares!

The food was very nice, and everything was clean and tidy in this lovely old building. I liked the beautiful vintage furnishings and the gorgeous location. There were lots of rules to keep to, and the helicopter owners were the only downside to an otherwise wonderful place.
