Kerry handled our booking mix-up fairly and professionally, and we sincerely apologise for overstaying by mistake and putting her in a difficult spot. We spent two nights at York Motel WA and had a lovely stay. Kerry was friendly and welcoming, the place was exceptionally clean and well maintained, and the beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend if you want somewhere clean, comfortable, and friendly in York.

The family room was a nightmare for $250 a night. It had strong smells and worn-out old furniture, so we spent as little time inside as possible. Please clean the carpet. I don’t think the “smoke” outside at the provided table disguises the stale urine smell, even masked. We left early. Sorry, but we’re telling it like it is. Check our other reviews, they’re mostly 5 stars and recommendations.

The customer service was unmatched. Kerry was a godsend, rescuing me and my partner from a cold night in our car after our third-party booking didn’t go through. The rooms were cute and cozy, just what you need on a cold, rainy afternoon, and it’s only a short walk from the town centre. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Kerry turned a stressful booking problem into a smooth stay. A third-party service had made an error and hadn’t passed on our details, but she sorted it out quickly and made sure we got our refund from them too. Her kindness, patience, and professionalism made things much easier, and we’re really grateful. We’d highly recommend this motel.

I was hot, tired, and dusty, so I was very grateful when the motel owner rang a friend and found me a room with a spa for the night, even though the motel was fully booked. She went the extra mile while she was very busy herself. Top lady :)
