Getting in late turned out to be no issue. We called when we were running much later than planned, and the staff were glad to help, which was really reassuring. The room was clean, lovely and comfortable, and getting to it was easy.

There’s a lovely view across the mountains and surrounding wilderness, and the rooms are quiet, clean, dark at night and made up each day. The IGA is just a two-minute walk away, while the pub serves very good food in a really nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and professional. A great place to stay on the west coast, whether you’re travelling through or working nearby. Highly recommend it.

Had a cold beer on tap and some great food in the bar. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable too. Mmmmmm!

The staff were polite and helpful, and the rooms were spotless, quiet and very comfortable. It was sad to see Zeehan looking almost like a ghost town apart from the mine workers. The bistro food wasn't great for anyone avoiding meat or dairy. My scallops and prawns were heavily battered and cooked from frozen, which left them rubbery.

The rooms were good, but as a worker staying there I would've liked a microwave or toaster. With no other place to eat in town, there wasn't much choice, and I wasn't impressed with the meals. Queenstown is only half an hour away and has a better feed. Still, there really isn't another option in town.
