The room was filthy, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here. There was grime all through the shower, including crud everywhere, dirty curtains, a dirty bathroom, missing sliding doors, and missing parts in the fridge. Cockroach baits had been left in the bathroom, and the smell from the sink outlet was disgusting. The check in girl was arrogant and had a bad attitude. Their systems don’t work, and she shouldn’t be in public service. In response, they tried to deflect and turn the fact that their system DID NOT work back on me. That wasn’t a reply, they should read my comment. Being dismissed is why I got dismissive. If we’d been face to face, the little miss arrogance would not have been treated as well as I treated her. I was told to bring a credit card that wasn’t mine. I hope nobody else loses anything through their credit cards. I called to complain about cleanliness, but NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE and there’s no one there after hours. This place is a joke. DO NOT STAY HERE. I’ve stayed in, let’s say, 1000s of hotels and motels during my working career, and this place IS the worst.

The bedbug problem was bad enough, but the way it was handled made the stay even worse. We called reception after finding several bugs in our bed and were simply moved into the room next door. We were worried about carrying them home, and the hotel didn’t seem concerned that they might be moved from room to room. We’d come for a birthday stay and left after a sleepless night. At checkout I asked for a full refund and was told that wasn’t possible because they were a “small business.” Booking.com eventually refunded us after hearing what happened. The hotel had even said we hadn’t checked in, though we absolutely had. The young woman at reception was friendly, but the situation needed much better handling.

We were very happy with our two-night stay. The room was clean and tidy, and there was plenty of secure parking. Shops, restaurants and pubs were handy too. The staff were great, and it was easy to get in touch about checking in after hours. Thanks to everyone.

I couldn’t travel because I was ill, so I called in the morning to let them know I wouldn’t be checking in. I knew the late notice meant I probably wouldn’t get a refund, but wanted to give them a chance to rent the room. The manager was so kind and offered to reschedule my stay. It honestly made me emotional. I’m hoping to go in a couple of weeks. A huge thank you for being so thoughtful.

Slept so well on the comfy mattress and pillows. The room was clean and nice, and I enjoyed watching TV. In the morning I had two coffees. The staff member was friendly too.
