You can walk to everything from this great place to stay. The second-floor restaurant and bar has daily specials, plus half-price happy hour every day from 3 to 5.

The location made it easy to explore Oranjestad on foot, with shops, restaurants, and even a casino close by. We walked through the casino out of curiosity, though we don’t gamble. Each morning we watched the sunrise over the harbor through the huge floor-to-ceiling windows. The on-site bar and restaurant looked convenient, but we chose to try the many great restaurants nearby. At “Solitude.n.Aruba!” in Harbour House, the condo felt brand new and was kept in immaculate condition. It had everything we needed, including a patio grill, two beach chairs, pool towels, clips for keeping chairs steady on breezy beach days, a washer and dryer, and reliable Wi-Fi. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware, utensils, a coffee maker, and other essentials. The hosts’ care and attention made us feel at home, and the Harbour House staff were friendly and professional. The rooftop gym, hot tub, and spa were a lovely extra, especially in the evenings when we could relax and watch the stars. Communication was smooth from the time we booked. We got clear instructions for accessing the condo, along with helpful suggestions for beaches, restaurants, and grocery shopping. Everything felt easy and stress-free. We had a fabulous week, and already know this is where we’ll stay when we return to Aruba. We highly recommend renting a car. It cost much less than in the States, made getting around the island easy, and helped us explore. There are no Ubers, and taxis can be hard to find.

The location suited me perfectly. It wasn’t too busy, and with a car you can get anywhere in minutes. I also liked the pool and gym, and the staff were sweet. Diego and the woman at the restaurant, whose name I don’t know, were very kind. I had a lovely stay and really recommend it.

I booked an ocean view and ended up with this instead. The business practices felt very deceptive. They told us they’d update their website, but they still haven’t as of today.
