Ladybugs Apartments

We’re from Colombia, and I stayed in a spacious, comfortable room. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the beach is very close, with a large supermarket nearby. Mrs. Yamile was disrespectful and unfriendly, unlike Gorge, who was very kind. Haili, the cleaning lady, was lovely. I’d stay again, but they should find a less rude employee, because that could become a problem for customers. I had thought there would be a pool, but there wasn’t one.

The customer service was wonderful throughout the stay, and I felt very safe there. I booked a couple of weeks earlier on ID90 Travel, a site specifically for pilots and flight attendants with special rates. At first, check-in was confusing because my Mom and I couldn’t find the doorbell and thought the staff had left for the evening. I emailed before finding somewhere else, and got a response right away. After that, check-in went smoothly. If I return to Aruba, I’d stay here again.

Ladybug Apts gave us the flexibility we wanted. We’re a young couple, but we don’t enjoy loud crowds or hectic beachfront places packed with drunk Americans. We’d rather find an affordable spot and drive to more private beaches, then eat wherever we like. We felt safe in the neighborhood and on the property, and the bed was comfortable. We mainly wanted somewhere clean and comfortable at a reasonable price during the busy season, and Ladybug delivered. The location was the big draw, right by a supermarket and on the main island street. It was a 9 minute drive downtown, 5 minutes to Ritz, the furthest north hotel, and 2 minutes to Eagle beach. The staff were really nice and helped whenever we needed them.

The Host is great, and the rooms are clean and nice. Superfood and the beach are close by, with Eagle Beach a 15 to 25 minute walk away.
