Gray Door Apartments - Adults Only

Our apartment was stunning, with luxury finishes, lots of space and careful attention to detail, making it a lovely place to relax. Even more impressive were our hosts, AJ and Denise. They were welcoming, friendly and excellent at communicating, reaching out well before we arrived with useful tips and links. They met us when we got there and stayed helpful throughout, even getting us out of a jam when we couldn’t find a taxi to the airport and were at risk of missing our flight. We were so impressed with the experience and hope to return soon. Thanks again!

My boyfriend planned a birthday trip to Aruba and found this tucked-away place, which I loved. It’s away from the main attractions but only a five-minute drive from one of the island’s many beaches. Gray Door Apartments was clean and very thoughtfully set up. There was a binder with local restaurants, beaches, activities and excursions, and it answered all the questions we had. They also left a cooler, chairs and an umbrella in the room for the beach at no extra cost. Though we didn’t use the washer and dryer, they provide coins for a load of laundry onsite. There’s also a gym and pool. My boyfriend said it was easy to reach someone through WhatsApp before and during our stay, and they were very responsive. Our neighbors were considerate about noise. It’s a kid-free location. I’d stay again and recommend it.

Denise and AJ were so attentive and available at a moment’s notice, and the house was very clean and had everything we needed. We spent a week here in February and had a great experience. The apartment was close enough to the beaches and nightlife, but far enough away that it was quiet and didn’t feel unsafe. Aruba was lovely. I’d give six stars if I could and will definitely return. I just hope all these great reviews don’t push the price up, LOL. Thanks again, AJ and Denise, for a wonderful stay.

Gray Door Apartments feels like our home away from home when we visit Aruba. AJ and Denise are lovely hosts and have thought of everything guests might need. It’s beautiful, clean and full of amenities. I highly recommend it.
