Geraldine was such a warm welcome to Aruba, and the rest of the staff were just as welcoming. We met Christopher, Juan, and many others, including the breakfast hostess whose name I’m sorry I didn’t get. It felt like a loving place to stay, and the hotel is beautiful for the price. I’d read that it was a little off the beaten path, but I thought the location was great. It’s close to the coast yet away from the resort area chaos, so getting around the island was easy. Staff helped arrange a taxi when needed and also set us up with a rental car. The car was delivered to the hotel, then picked up there, with a shuttle back to the airport. So convenient! Praise God in Jesus’ name for all of you. I’m not sure whether Geraldine owns or leads the hotel, but she was exactly the friendly hello and welcome to Aruba we needed. If you’re looking for somewhere nice to stay, consider this place. One thing to know: Aruba’s toilets have a sensitive system that needs to be used differently than in America. They may have fixed the issue by the time we left. This hotel is such a gem of the island. Blessings upon all of you at ABAH!

The artwork and atmosphere were pleasant and inspiring, and the staff were amazing. My wife and I spent a week here, and the facility looks like it’s been updated recently. It’s about two blocks from the ocean, an easy walk. After this experience with the team and their facility, I’m thinking about coming back in the Spring for a short getaway. Five out of five if you want a quiet resort off the beaten path but still within walking distance of some major beaches.

The rooms are clean and big enough, and breakfast is free. It’s a kid-free hotel, which is great, and the staff are perfectly friendly and do what they can to help. It’s a nice place, a little off the beaten path, and costs a bit less. The rooms run cold, though, and it’s hard to control the AC. Figuring out the TV was tricky too, which was kind of funny. Be careful which room you book. If you reserve through hotels.com, you’ll get one of the smaller, cheaper rooms. Some cost a little more and are like mini cabanas, with their own little backyard spaces. Everyone shares a couple of wading pools and a water spa. It isn’t a Jacuzzi since it’s not heated. There’s also a very small gym, but if you need to exercise, you can find a way. During the couple of days I was there, cabs took 10 to 15 minutes to arrive and averaged about $15 wherever I was going. There’s an Avis within walking distance, maybe a quarter mile up the road, and I rented a car for a day to cruise around. If you’re comparing this hotel with another, this is a nice hotel.

The staff were wonderful, and the rooms have been updated. Breakfast is included, and the new hotel is near lots of different things. We spent two nights here and had a great time. I’d stay again!

The price was right, the staff were awesome, and the rooms were big and comfortable. I got plenty of rest but still had time to play. At night you might hear soft music, and it was good music too! Gabriella, I think that was her name, you rock! She got my phone working while I was there. So sweet, kind, and funny. The chef, I believe his name was Mike, makes the best shrimp tacos ever. The beach is fairly close, as are other restaurants and shops. This was the best spur-of-the-moment choice I could’ve made for spring break last year. I plan to come back soon. If you’ve thought about going to Aruba, go, and be sure to stay here. You won’t regret it or forget it. Tell them Iris said "Biba Dushi!" That really is one happy island.
