The spa was a highlight for us: we tried the ginger melt massage, and it was honestly one of the best we've ever had. The beach was lovely and peaceful, and the whole property was spotless and well cared for. We'd just returned from four nights at the Westerly at the Hilton Aruba, and the little touches on arrival, like silk eye masks and pillow spray, made things feel special. Food was delicious at breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Sunset Grill. The staff made the trip, too. Everyone was friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with them and hearing where they came from. It made the experience feel personal. A five-star stay for us, and we'd definitely come back if we wanted a more elevated, luxurious Aruba visit.

The Westerly is a compelling Aruba option, and it can relax you in a more exclusive luxury setting while still giving access to the wider resort. It's attached to the iconic Hilton Aruba campus, with the broader property across the street from restaurants, nightlife, and activities. The hotel sits right on Palm Beach, with lots of beach frontage and chairs, and beautiful white sand. The rooms stood out: spacious, thoughtfully designed, with large bathrooms and two sinks, in a clean, modern style that still feels Caribbean. First-floor rooms have swim-up pools, which we'd like to try on our next stay. The tower feels like an elevated addition to the existing Hilton property, with larger, upgraded rooms. Food around the property was great, and noticeably better than during our visits over the last few years. The newer sushi menus are a particular highlight. A new beachfront restaurant has replaced the old shack, and the steak restaurant also looks recently renovated. It seems like the hotel owner has invested a lot.
