The location worked well, with plenty of supermarkets nearby, and breakfast was the one good part of the stay. Everything else was awful. The room was dirty and smelled of cigarettes, the table looked as if rats had chewed it, and the kettle was filthy, with dirt floating in the water. When I asked for a replacement, they rinsed the same kettle with water and brought it back. The hairdryer barely worked and vibrated like it might have a short circuit, and the AC/heater did not work either. There was no tissue box, toothpaste, or toothbrush, so you have to buy those yourself. Service was very bad. There was only one cleaner, who could not understand English and did not know how to speak to guests. The receptionist acted as if we were being interviewed, and waiters stared while we ate. If you took a lot of food, they giggled, as though nobody else ate and everyone else had to starve. The worst part was that my baklava and universal travel adapter went missing. I had left the authentic baklava, worth over 100 AED, from Gabala in the fridge. Within an hour of checking out, I called, gave them my room number, and said I had also forgotten my adapter. They sent another photo of the fridge and told me nothing was there. They ate the baklava and stole my adapter. I have never stayed in a worse hotel. Avoid it.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the lunch and dinner options had plenty of variety at reasonable prices. The place was quite clean, and staff were friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Elcan and the restaurant manager. A great spot to stay while visiting Baku. All the best!

The rooms are spacious and the hotel is in a great location. It was super clean, and the reception was helpful. Meals are easy here too, with a wide range of reasonably priced food at the on-site restaurant. The restaurant manager and staff are dedicated. Great value for the money, and I highly recommend staying here. I'd gladly return.

Nihad and Ulvi welcomed me warmly and gave excellent service, which I appreciated. But I found the guest entry rule unacceptable: unlike the usual welcome and passport check I've experienced at hotels in many countries, they demanded 40 manats for a guest to enter. I doubt this rule applies to every guest, so this will probably be my last stay here.
