Central City Baku Hotel

The location is excellent, and the service was good, with kind, nice people. Our room was reasonable, but the bathroom had a strong sewage smell that wouldn’t go away, and there was no window in it. Breakfast was limited to sausages, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, bread, and butter. You can make do, especially with that location.

I’d rate the hotel 10/10. The service was excellent and the workers were kind, even though some didn’t speak English. Ilyas was especially welcoming and gave outstanding service. He shared the country’s history and culture, offered useful suggestions, and we enjoyed long conversations while being careful not to interrupt his work. I learned a lot from him, and we booked a Shahdag trip thanks to his help. The room was very clean, with clean bedding, a recently painted ceiling, and all the necessary amenities. The atmosphere was calm, in a quiet neighborhood with no noise. It’s in a safe area near a main street, with surveillance cameras. The Old City and Nizami Street are a five-minute walk away, while the Flame Towers and the Corniche take about 15 minutes on foot.

The rooms are good and it’s a very nice place, but there’s a really strong sewer smell.

The location is great for walking, and the service was excellent. The staff were good too.
