Citrus Boutique Hotel

We had a very comfortable stay with plenty of space, and the place was clean and conservative. It’s close to the old city, and the elegant furnishings made a nice impression. Emilia and Fatima were especially friendly and supportive. Thanks for the professional hospitality. I’d book again on my next trip to Baku, and recommend it to families.

My standard room suited me perfectly, though it might feel small for a couple with large suitcases. It was nicely decorated, everything seemed new, and I had all I needed. The room faced the inner garden, so there was no outside noise. I could hear the neighbors next door, but it wasn’t a big deal, and the hotel was generally quiet. I felt welcome throughout, thanks to the warm, friendly staff I met. The building dates from the first Oil Boom in the late XIX century, and the location is handy, a short walk from the old town and sea boulevard, with cafes and bars just around the corner. You have to ring the bell to get in, which initially put me off, but given the lively neighborhood I came to appreciate that only guests can enter. I love small hotels, and I’m glad I found this boutique place. I’d gladly stay again.

We stayed at Citrus hotel as a couple on our winter trip to Baku and had a great time. With nearly all the main sights close enough to walk to, we hardly needed a taxi. The room was clean and bright, the staff were really friendly, and the location couldn't have been better. I'd definitely recommend it.

The hospitality from the staff was excellent, and the recently renovated rooms feel clean, contemporary, and comfortable. Citrus sits right in the city center among lovely buildings from the late-19th-century Oil Boom. I’d strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Baku, whether as a couple or with family.
