Grand Liman Hotel

Our Three-Bedroom Suite Apartment had a balcony overlooking the F1 race track, which was awesome. Getting to Sahil Grandstand was a scenic 20-minute walk that never felt like a hassle, and Nizami Street was just a short walk away. Elnur, Miri, and the gentleman who made breakfast every day were always friendly and helpful, and made the stay memorable. We did have to ask for things like spoons and water bottles fairly often. Also, the toilet with the bathtub wasn’t very practical, since the seat felt cramped beside the tub. Those were small issues in an otherwise fantastic stay. We’d happily return and recommend Liman Hotel Baku for a race or holiday.

The noise was extreme, both from the junction outside and inside the property, and made it hard to rest. The air conditioning and heating didn’t work, which made the room uncomfortable. Breakfast was only one boiled egg and two pieces of bread, hardly a satisfying meal for the price. The toilet was visibly dirty and grimy, the floor was uneven and dirty, and the door lock was damaged, which left me concerned about safety. The place has been turned into makeshift apartments, with narrow corridors, too little space, and inadequate amenities and maintenance throughout. The atmosphere felt unpleasant and uninviting, like being in a ghetto. With the poor upkeep and lack of attention to detail, it felt more like a low-quality hostel than a hotel.

Many places are an easy walk from this hotel, right in the heart of the city. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly, so it was a convenient stay.

The spacious rooms and staff hospitality were real positives, and the location made it easy to reach local attractions. Nizami Street is within walking distance, with lots of shops and a nearby metro station. It’s lively and felt safe, making the area convenient and enjoyable. The bathrooms need better upkeep, the quilts could be more comfortable, and breakfast could offer more variety.
