The room was filthy when I checked in. There was dirt all over the floor, feathers, wrappers and hair around the room, and toenail clippings on one of the beds. The tables were dirty too, as the photo shows. They blamed it on dirty clients, but I doubt the place had been cleaned in months. There also seemed to be an ant infestation. The shower had no hot water at any time of day, and the mosquito nets weren’t on the window and couldn’t be fitted. I could keep going. The kitchen wasn’t in good shape either, and the AC wouldn’t turn on. The bedroom door and nearby window are translucent glass, so there’s little privacy, and corridor light comes into the room until they switch it off. On top of all that, I came across several reviews that looked AI-generated, including one that started, “Here's a refined version of the review:” as though the output had been pasted in directly.

The hosts made the place feel like home, with a warm, friendly atmosphere, especially with the kids around. There’s a wonderful grandma, two adorable cats, a caring man, and a lovely, attentive sister. A beautiful park is right in front, and the main attractions are nearby, so there’s plenty to do. It really feels like staying in your own home instead of a hostel. Such kind, welcoming people, I highly recommend it.

I had a good stay at this hostel and didn’t run into any problems. The lady was very nice.
