I paid for a room at AZN 32 per night, but when I arrived at 9 PM the host suddenly said it had no hot water. They showed me a messy, windowless room at the price I'd booked, then conveniently offered another one “with a balcony” for AZN 40 a night. The AZN 40 room was exactly the same standard as the one I'd originally booked. It felt like a deliberate bait and switch to charge me more. The host showed no integrity. Very dishonest, avoid this place.

I paid Əfiz at reception 100 AZN to hold the same room I'd stayed in for two days later. He agreed and said I could pay the remaining 200 AZN when I came back. When I returned and paid, he gave me a different room without saying anything. I asked for a refund because that wasn't our agreement, but he refused, with no explanation or apology. They took my money and broke the agreement. Dishonest and unprofessional, and I don't recommend this hotel, especially if Əfiz is handling your booking.

The steps were a bit uncomfortable at the start. Apart from that, the rooms were clean and neat, and the hotel is right in the city center at a reasonable price.

There are lots of bars and pubs nearby, so whether to go to them is up to you. The location is very nice, and the people are friendly. They also offer free 5G Wi-Fi, one-time transport from the airport, a walking city tour, and breakfast in the morning.

We had a good time at this excellent hotel. The staff were friendly and spoke well. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Baku.
