London Hotel and Guest House

The location is the one clear plus, right in the center of Nizami Street. The room was okay, but the bed sheets weren’t clean. There’s no lift, so anyone who can’t manage stairs should avoid staying here.

The location was amazing and, for the price, the accommodation was acceptable. The window view was awesome and the heating worked fine. There was a jug of water, but no water bottles, which put me off. The sheets were a bit dirty, and the two-pin plug caused a short circuit in the room. The stairs were the biggest hassle to deal with. It was an average stay, pretty much what you might expect for what you pay.

I was meant to stay for two days, and the day before arrival someone texted to ask when I’d get there. I said between 5 and 6pm the next day, and they gave that a thumbs-up. But when I arrived at 5:20pm, I was told there was no room because I hadn’t shown up at 6AM, and that the reservation had been canceled at 3pm. There was no apology and nobody offered to help me find another place. The service was so bad. If you don’t want to risk being left on the street without a hotel, don’t book here. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

I let them know my flight would arrive late and had made a reservation starting the day before so there’d be no problem. They replied to confirm it. But when I got there, I couldn’t get in, and they didn’t even answer the phone. I tried for almost an hour, standing on the street at 4am, with no luck. I had to find another hotel, which was difficult with an event happening in the city. It showed an extreme disregard for guests. Worst experience of my life. I’d never stay there again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
