The staff were lovely and went out of their way to help, even serving guests at the self-service breakfast buffet. Breakfast itself was okay, though one morning my pancakes tasted strongly of mould. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the old town or the seafront. I hadn't found much information about the hotel online, so I didn't expect much, but it turned out surprisingly nice. The rooms are big and had a kettle and fridge, and looked fairly recently renovated. The beds had memory mattresses and what seemed like ergonomic pillows. Breakfast is on the top floor with a superb view of the Caspian Sea. Not a bad place to stay.

I liked the view from the terrace and windows best. The Caspian Sea and the city's hills make a spectacular sight in the evening. The place is nice overall, with a good atmosphere and staff who behave well.

The hotel is right in the city center, with a sauna and small pool downstairs. My room had a king-size bed, nice decor, a work area, and steady internet. The staff were very friendly.
